Vinyasa

This class focuses on linking postures and breath, resulting in a dance-like flow that is energising for the body and calming for the mind. It is a great complement to a regular dance fitness practice, as it builds both strength and flexibility. We will move through a plethora of asanas including twists, backbends and forward folds, and the practice includes some simple breath work and a short relaxation at the end. Prior yoga experience is helpful, but not compulsory.

For practice, you will need a yoga mat. Yoga blocks and a strap may be helpful, but are not necessary.

Yin + Guided Relaxation

Fast and sweaty workouts are great for keeping energy levels up, but it is equally important to soothe our nervous system and take care of our connective tissue. Yin Yoga is a slow practice that incorporates principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Poses are held for longer periods to target the deep connective tissues like our fascia and ligaments — regular practice will in time strengthen and lengthen them, resulting in increased flexibility and better energy circulation. This practice ends with a guided meditation to soothe and relax our nervous systems, preparing us for more restful sleep.

For practice, you will need a yoga mat and two pillows/cushions.

Yin Yang

A Yin Yang practices combines the best of both worlds – a dynamic sequence at the start to build strength and muscle tone, followed by long-held stretches at the end to maintain suppleness in our connective tissues. Yin Yoga is a slow practice that incorporates principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Poses are held for longer periods to target the deep connective tissues like our fascia and ligaments — regular practice will in time strengthen and lengthen them, resulting in increased flexibility and better energy circulation.

We do virtual live streaming class for our studio members, non members as well as corporate clients.
